1991 APS Head of the River
It was a big day out for Geelong Grammar, winning both the boy's and girl's Heads of the River, as well as winning all the girl's races and the firsts, seconds and thirds in the boys races.
The Geelong Grammar girl's had to fend off a strong challenge from their cross town rivals in Geelong College to win their Head of the River. The boy's from Geelong Grammar had a slightly easier race taking their Head of the River by one length despite losing a hard fought semi-final with Brighton Grammar School on the way.
The big change at this regatta was moving all races out to 1500m.
