1943 South Australian Schools' Head of the River

Thursday, 15 April – Torrens Lake:

The 1943 SA Head of the River on Torrens Lake featured the following events:

- First Eight

- Clinker Fours (Seconds)

- Open Tub Fours (Slides)

- Under 16 Tub Fours (Slides)

- Under 15 Tub Fours (Slides)


The Advertiser wrote that Scotch College won their first Gosse Shield since 1940, whilst also taking out the Clinker Fours. Prince Alfred College won the Open Tub Four, whilst Adelaide High School won both the Under 16 and 15 Tub Fours.
