1941 South Australian Schools' Head of the River

Saturday, 19 April – Torrens Lake:

The 1941 SA Head of the River regatta on the Torrens Lake held the following events:

- First Eight

- Clinker Fours (Seconds)

- Open Tub Fours (Slides)

- Under 16 Tub Fours (Slides)

- Under 15 Tub Fours (Slides)


The Advertiser described that the good weather held until the conclusion of the regatta. Prince Alfred College won the First Eight for the first time since 1937 by 1¾ lengths over Adelaide High School. They also won the Open Four and Under 16 Tub Fours, whilst Adelaide High School won the Clinker Four and Under 15 Tub Four.
