1961 Rowing Victoria State Championships

The main Championship Regatta for the men was conducted on the afternoon of Saturday 11th February 1961 on Lake Wendouree. The host was the Ballarat Rowing Association.

There was a good spread on wins in the senior, lightweight and junior men's Championships. In the senior races, Mercantile took out the men's eight, Jeff Sykes the scull, Albert Bell's Corio four taking out their event and Banks the pair.
