History of the Tasmanian SATIS Head of the River rowing regatta

2021 SATIS Head of the River

Lake Barrington - Saturday, March 13

**

2020 was the first time the Tasmanian Head of the River had to be cancelled, due to the ongoing threat of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fortunately, the 104th edition of the regatta was able to be held in a safe manner in 2021.

**

Schoolboy First Eight

Hutchins School won the First Eight yet again by 6.23 seconds over The Friends' School.

Incredibly, Hutchins School has won 18 of the last 23 First Eight races at the Head of the River.

Schoolgirl First Eight

On the flipside, Scotch Oakburn College won the first Schoolgirl First Eight title since 1997. They did so in convincing style; by 6.74 seconds over Fahan School.
