1984 Second Trans Tasman Under 23 Regattas– Australia
This series was for representative Australian and New Zealand crews. It was raced at Brisbane, Canberra and Penrith.
This series was far more even sided than the last but the point score still ended up in Australia's favour.
New Zealand produced some good crews with their men's sweep crews being too good for the Australians and they shared honours in some of the sculling events. The lightweight men's four from Mercantile won all their events. Australia therefore retained the trophy with a points score of 74 as against 66 for New Zealand.
