1922 Darcy Hadfield (NZL) defeats Richard Arnst (NZL)

Hadfield was a New Zealand Olympian and amateur champion and defeated Arnst by 10 lengths.


1922 Jim Paddon (AUS) defeats Darcy Hadfield (NZL) in Wanganui NZ

Paddon was then the Australian champion and he won by 9 lengths.
