A Centenary of Rowing Regattas— Murray Rowing Association

Apendix 6 - Conclusion

The Compilers present this History of the Murray Rowing Association as a tribute to the Pioneers of Rowing in this District. They crave indulgence and sympathy for imperfections and omissions.

We sincerely thank those who have helped with the lending of old photographs and documents, and with the obtaining of information. Particular thanks must go to the proprietors of "The Rutherglen Sun" and Corowa Free Press", for their help and assistance.

Our personal thanks to Miss R. A. Chisnall for typing assistance, Mr. G. J. Lee for proof reading, Mr. B. S. Jasper, Mr. A. B. McIntosh for help in many ways, and Mr. A. Jaskson was of great assistance with his comments on the early years.

We hope that in the 150th year of rowing on Lake Moodemere, a more full and complete history will be written.

Until such time, we hope this booklet will fulfil some of your needs.
