At last year’s AGM I thanked Warren for his many years as club captain and my thanks recognised in this year’s annual report. In thanking Warren it is difficult to know where to begin. When Warren took over as captain we had one of the poorest fleets on the river. Now we have one of the best not just in Melbourne but I think in Australia. Warren improved our racking, new oars, designed and built a fantastic boat trailer, and we have a first class gym. Warren was the driving force for this and much, more. We thank you Warren. You have left a huge legacy.
