Nigel W (Charlie) Winter

Adelaide Rowing Club (SA)

Nigel was a prolific race winner at his Club, and progressed through to winning at national level as well.

He raced in the State crew at the first National Championships conducted on new West Lakes course and then won the King's Cup in 1981. He also won the Oxford and Cambridge Cup at Australian University Championships in 1979.

Following his rowing career, he established a well known legal firm in Adelaide which has gone onto being a prominent national firm, Johnson, Winter & Slattery.
