Gerald Marcus Tully

South Melbourne Rowing Club (VIC) now Albert Park South Melbourne Rowing Club (VIC)

Gerald Marcus Tully was a South Melbourne Rowing Club rower who served in WWI.

He is recorded as being the six man of the winning South Melbourne Maiden eight at the Ballarat Regatta in 1915.

When he enlisted in 1915, his occupation was noted as a clerk. He was a large man for the times being 5 feet 11 inches tall and nearly 12 stone.

He successfully survived the war with minor illnesses and returned to Australia in 1919.
