He was responsible for the creation of many of the club photos.
The only winning event was winning the club sculling championship on the 3/5/1930 (the trophy is on display in the trophy cabinet)

Ernest H. Tindall died on 5th September, 1971. Ern Tindall had joined the club in about 1916, then took a renewed interest in more recent years. Ern always gave reliable support to Yarra Yarra, especially through his great talents with photography. His film of the 1932 Kings Cup Race is one of the few historical films on Australian rowing still available.
