A Ron Shannon

Mercantile Rowing Club (VIC)

Ron joined the Club from Scotch College and became a senior oarsman.

He served as Vice-Captain for four years and was Captain 1929-31.

His main forte was in the organisation of Club activities, although his high office in the Education Department precluded him from devoting much time to Club affairs in latter years.

Andrew Guerin developed and extended these histories to the current format in 2004 for publication in 2004 and then expanded the site.
