1998 Women's Quad - Jane is second from left
Jane started rowing at Melbourne Rowing Club, literally walking in and asking to row. She moved to the ACT after the 1996 Olympics to be at the AIS. Back then there was very little support for women scullers in Victoria, a situation that is now well in the past. This explains her racing for the ACT. During her career she also won some 13 medals in World Cup in addition to the matters mentioned above. Jane is well and truly back in Victoria coaching for Genazzano FCJ College and competing in masters competition on an irregular basis. She is a mother.
