Andrew O’Dea went to America later in the 1890’s where he became a successful intercollegiate rowing coach. He introduced the Yarra Yarra stroke to his crews as indicated by this extract from Hear the Boat Sings and reproduced in the YYRC newsletter 'Yarra Yabbie' no 64, August 2021.
