Chris O’Brien has established himself as Australia’s most successful Olympic rowing coach - with two gold and one silver medal over the last three Olympic regattas and he also has a rich World Championship history, with his crews winning three gold & one bronze medal. In August 2012 Chris—who affectionately known as “Cobber” - was appointed the National Performance Director of Rowing Australia - after relinquishing his position as Victorian Institute of Sport Head Rowing Coach.
