Boat christening: Our new tub pair was christened the ’Bob Mann’ by Loraine, with Bob’s mother and three daughters in attendance. Bob was honoured not only for competing with Yarra, and being on a number of committees, but mainly for his willingness at all times to assist beginners in their first stages of rowing.

Bob Mann – Bob was made an honorary life member of the club for his rowing and coaching, of beginners for 20 years. We congratulate Bob, (his daughter Adele was the first female coxswain and rower in the club).
