L Lowe

South Melbourne Rowing Club (VIC) now Albert Park South Melbourne Rowing Club (VIC)

Lowe was a member of the South Melbourne Rowing Club who served in WWI.

Whilst we cannot be certain, it is highly likely that he is Leonard Lowe, butcher of Merton Street Albert Park who enlisted at the age of 21 in August 1914. This Leonard Lowe received the Military Medal for bravery in the field in September 1917.
