Douglas Livingston

Jeparit Rowing Club (VIC)

Douglas Livingston was born at Kaniva Victoria in 1897. 

At the time of his enlistment in WWI on 10th August 1916, he was 19 year Jeparit grocer. He served in the 8th Battalion with a regimental number 6553.

It was not until March 1917 that he was transferred to France after several bouts of illness. He served in France until transferred back to Australia and discharged on 13th October 1919.
