William Kemp

1851 - 1904

1871 - Melbourne Regatta, maiden gig, two seat - First 

1872 - Melbourne Regatta, junior four, three seat - First 

1879 - Colac Regatta, senior eight - First

1879 - Intercolonial Eight Championships, six seat - Second 

William was a public servant employed by the Victorian Treasury as Secretary of the Treasury Tender Board. He did not marry. His brother Joseph Kemp was a noted Barwon Rowing Club member.

Sadly he fell foul of the law in 1894.
