Jud H Harding

Mercantile Rowing Club (VIC)

Jud Harding was a senior oarsman whose career spanned the Great War of 1914-18. Very few rowers managed this feat.

He was also an active Committee man for many year from 1917 through to 1924 and Vice-Captain for one of those years.

His death was noted in 1940-41 annual report which shows that he died young. The report noted that he was an outstanding oarsman but was compelled to cease active rowing on account of ill-health.
