Mercantile Rowing Club (VIC)

Ron Gardner's obituary was noted in 1939-40 Mercantile annual report.

Mr Ron Gardner was another member of many years standing, who despite the fact that he had done no active rowing for a very long time, always took a keen interest in the Club's welfare, and made a point of attending our social functions such as the Annual Dinner.

Mr Gardner was one of those men whose constant support is such a tower of strength to a Club.

Andrew Guerin developed and extended these histories to the current format in 2004 for publication in 2004 and then expanded the site.
