J Finn

Yarra Yarra Rowing Club (VIC)

Finn was a member of the Club pre WWII winning a couple of maiden events and serving on the Club's Committee.

His membership spanned the seasons 1933/34 to 1939/40 serving on the Committee in 1938/40 season. Given the abrupt end to his membership after being so helpful being on the Committee, one can suggest that he enlisted for service in WWII in 1940, or, if a relative of fellow member David Charles Finn from Wangaratta, maybe sent back to work in his home town.
