David C Finn

Yarra Yarra Rowing Club (VIC)

David Charles Finn was a member of the club for the seasons 1938/39 to 1945/46 (incl).

He was Assistant Secretary in the 1939/40 season and Secretary for the following two seasons, 1940/41 and 1941/42.

Wins recorded:-

1939 - Victorian Rowing Association regatta, maiden eight (3)

1939 - Henley regatta - maiden four (3)

Given the same surname, he took over the Secretary role from J Finn and his race wins as fellow club member J Finn, it is probable that they were related.

A David Charles Finn enlisted for WWII service in Wangaratta on 10th April 1943 and was discharged on 22nd November 1945.
