Susan Evans
Mosman Rowing Club (NSW)
Susan was part of the great Evans dynasty at Mosman Rowing Club. Daughter of Fred and Rose, and sister of Bruce and Stuart.
When her mother Rose started the Mosman Women's Rowing Club in the mid 1950s, Susan became the inaugural Captain at the age of only 14. Whilst the Club only started with two members, it soon rapidly grew.
Susan was reserve of the winning NSW women's four in 1959, them stroked the winning 1960 Interstate crew.
