Ian Evans
Mosman Rowing Club (NSW)
Ian was a senior NSW and Mosman rower in 1920s and brother of Fred Evans.
Whilst we do not have much information on Ian, he was a member of Mosman Rowing Club by 1924 as he was selected into the NSW King's Cup crew in that year.
In 1926, he was selected into the NSW King's Cup crew but had to withdraw. He joined his brother Fred in the successful 1929 NSW King's Cup crew which was a wholly Mosman crew.
The 1920s were a great time for Mosman, dominating the senior rowing in NSW.
