1955 – Interstate Men’s Coxed Pair Championship stroke - First

1956 - Olympic Games - Men’s Coxed Pair stroke - eliminated in semi final

Bruce Dickson and Bob Duncan had a long line of successes in both pairs and fours in Victorian competition. They hailed from a smaller club that the larger Melbourne Cubs and so did not have the opportunities in the eights. Together they dominated the pairs and were very successful in four oared races for the first half of the 1950s.
