1990 Trans Tasman Juniors Regattas—
Lake Karapiro NZ

Australia won the points competition after a closely fought contest with New Zealand over two regattas. After the first regatta, the scores were tied.

The City of Devonport Trophy was awarded by the Tasmanian Council for the first time in recognition of the World Rowing Championships in 1990 at Lake Barrington.
